Le mont saint Michel at midnight. The iconic Unesco world heritage site during the harvest moon right after the high tide receeded.

Once an island, only accessible via a wooden causeway bridge, and regularly inaccessible. But now with a new bridge, and the changes in the sea bed it is only a true island on those couple of times a year that bring an unusually high tide. This particular evening was the harvest moon, and with it came one of the highest tides of the year, leaving the famous mont saint michel completely cut off by water. The bridge was not passable. Just as quick as the notorious tide came in, a couple of hours later it receeded, leaving behind puddles in the sand and beautiful reflections from the unusually bright harvest moon.
